How to Get Started

Now you know what CrossFit is, How to get started?

Getting started at CrossFit Townsville requires you to undertake a compulsory Introduction course with one of our full-time coaches.  During the Introduction course we will go through the fundamental movements that make up the basis of our programming.  This will provide you with the necessary tools to make your transition into Main classes seamless and enable you to maximise what you, as an individual will get out of our program.

The Introduction course consists of a minimum of 3 x 1 hour training sessions with one of our full-time coaches.  If we feel you would benefit from further instruction we will advise you of this.  Our priority is to make sure that each individual that passes through the Introduction procedure has a strong understanding of the basics not just for their own benefit but for the benefit of all our other members that our coaches need to share their time with.

There is an option to share your Introduction course with up to 3 other people and this also helps reduce the cost slightly.  If you would like to share your sessions but don't have anyone to share with, you are able to put your name onto our wait list where we will advise you when a spot in a small group becomes available.

Once you have completed your Introduction course you will be given a 2 week unlimited pass to join our main classes.  From there you will be able to participate in up to 6 sessions a week (we recommend at least 3 per week) to get a feel for our program and how it is going to benefit you!  During this time your Intro coach will monitor your progress and be available to you if you have any questions about movements or programming.

CFTSV Introduction Course costings:

1 person - $300 (includes 3 x 1 hour one on one sessions + 2 week unlimited pass to classes)
2 people - $250 each (includes 3 x 1 hour sessions + 2 week unlimited pass to classes)
3 people - $225 each (includes 3 x 1 hour sessions + 2 week unlimited pass to classes)
4 people - $200 each (includes 3 x 1 hour sessions + 2 week unlimited pass to classes)

* 3 sessions is the minimum number of sessions required to enter Main classes.  If our coaches feel you require further sessions before going into main classes they will be charged at $100 per session.

Class Policy and Signing In

Signing into classes is compulsory and we advise you do it online via our Mindbody Online software. You can use the button on our home page 'Sign in for classes' or download the free app 'Mindbody Connect' and search for CrossFit Townsville. Make sure you use the same email address to sign in for classes as you have given us on your info profile.

10 session pass - $150

Couples - 20%
Student - 15%

Unlimited sessions (Direct Debit)

Weekly unlimited membership - $45 per week

* This is available as a weekly, fortnightly or monthly direct debit payment out of your account. It is our preferred method of payment with no lock in periods.  Ask for an Ezi Debit form to pursue this option.


Drop in Policy

We get lots of visitors to CrossFit Townsville and we love having you in our classes. However, it is compulsory to have done a Fundamentals program or equivalent and had at least 3 months CrossFit experience. Your first visit with us is complimentary and then $15 a session thereafter.
