Now you know what CrossFit is, How to get started?
The CFTSV Fundamentals Program is our introduction to CrossFit, the movements and the programming. The aim of the program is to expose you to the CrossFit methodology of training and make your transition into Main classes seamless. It is our goal to provide you with the necessary tools and education to help you onto your way to being the best you!
Our Fundamentals program runs for 4 weeks and consists of 2 phases:
PHASE 1 - During the first phase you will be introduced to the movements and programming you will encounter on a day to day basis as a member at CFTSV. This phase lasts 2 weeks with training on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6pm to 7pm. Following these 2 weeks you will receive an unlimited session pass that will cover you during phase 2, or the second 2 week block.
PHASE 2 - After the initial 2 weeks of the Fundamentals program is complete we want you to come to Main class sessions as much as you feel like you can (ideally at least 3 times per week!!). As part of Phase 2 you will also attend a Wednesday night session from 6pm to 7pm where we will spend time reinforcing Olympic lifting and gymnastic concepts, with the aim of making sure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to maximise what you get out of each and every Main class session. These Wednesday sessions also present the opportunity to touch base with the coaches and ask any questions concerning our program.
* Completing the Fundamentals Program is a prerequisite to joining our Main classes and attendance at all sessions is compulsory!
All sessions are run in a group environment with 2 lead coaches.
Cost is $250 and a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your place.
There are only 6 CFTSV Fundamentals blocks per year so bookings are essential!

If you miss booking into the CFTSV Fundamentals Program or find the times don't work well, we offer an option to undertake a CrossFit PT Introduction. The PT introduction covers the same principles as the Fundamentals Program but allows the coach to tailor the service to the individual athletes specific needs. Cost is $100 per 1 hour session with a minimum of 3 required to begin your journey into Main classes. At the conclusion of your PT Introduction sessions you will be credited with a 2 week unlimited session pass to attend Main classes.

Class Policy and Signing In
Signing into classes is compulsory and we advise you do it online via our Mindbody Online software. You can use the button on our home page 'Sign in for classes' or download the free app 'Mindbody Connect' and search for CrossFit Townsville. Make sure you use the same email address to sign in for classes as you have given us on your info profile.
Single session - $20
10 session pass - $150
Couples - 20%
Student - 15%
Unlimited sessions (Direct Debit)
Weekly unlimited membership - $45 per week
* This is available as a weekly, fortnightly or monthly direct debit payment out of your account. It is our preferred method of payment with no lock in periods. Ask for an Ezi Debit form to pursue this option.
Drop in Policy
We get lots of visitors to CrossFit Townsville and we love having you in our classes. However, it is compulsory to have done a Fundamentals program or equivalent and had at least 3 months CrossFit experience. Your first visit with us is complimentary and then $15 a session thereafter.
